Quality of life at work
Integration: Welcome to the New Akenean(s)
Each new employee is greeted on arrival at the company by a member of the Management Committee and given a presentation of the group. The presentation includes figures and information about the company's ethos and values, so that everyone can immerse themselves in the culture and spirit of AKENA.

Similarly, once a year, each employee has a review interview with their manager and every two years they have a meeting to discuss their career plans. These are essential opportunities for dialogue that enable everyone to be heard and to talk about their achievements, difficulties, potential for progress, future prospects and career development.
QUALIOPI certified training
AKENA is attentive to the expectations of its employees, particularly in terms of training courses, both internal and external.
Our technical teams and those of our professional customers, for example, follow a complete training course in our QUALIOPI certified centre. This recognition rewards the commitment made by our company to offer a quality service to our customers.

Equality at work, for all
With a professional equality index of 91/100 for the year 2022, Akena demonstrates its commitment to placing women and men on an equal footing. We obviously intend to continue our efforts.
Here are the details of the indicators calculated for AKENA:
Pay gap indicator
Indicator of the difference in individual rates of increase
Indicator of difference in promotion rates
Increase indicator after return from maternity leave
Number of employees of the under-represented sex among the 10 highest earners
At Akena, there are stages in a career that we like to celebrate
Career development is important and we support our employees in obtaining long-service medals after 20, 25 or 30 years of service and even beyond.
Similarly, we celebrate, often with emotion, the retirement of our loyal employees.

Safety is everyone's business!
Safety is one of the major areas for which we raise the awareness of our employees on a regular basis in conjunction with our Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee (CSSCT).
In our workshops, it is compulsory to wear protective clothing and to comply with the established rules: use handling aids, respect pedestrian zones, adopt preventive measures, etc.
This also applies on construction sites! Wearing all protective equipment is compulsory. Our employees are trained in mechanical assistance equipment and risk prevention.
