Roof fillings
As part of your carport project, we suggest you start your choice with the design of the roof and its filling. Below you will find solutions that allow you to let more or less light into your carport.
Polycarbonate
We offer polycarbonate infill for our fixed-roof and arched-roof carport models. Its transparent, even translucent appearance allows you to protect yourself while letting light through.
Blackout panel
The blackout panel is available on all our models, particularly the flat-roof carport.
Glass
With our fixed-roof carport model, you are free to choose the roofing material. As with a conservatory or pergola roof, we offer the option of adding glass bays or skylights.
Lighting
All our carports are equipped with optional LED strips. These should be considered to provide light, especially in winter, when it is dark in the morning when you get into your vehicle to leave for work.
Economical LED spotlights or neon lights
Our LED lighting option provides powerful, precise, long-lasting and economical lighting. Giving you security and comfort, you can park your vehicle and access your home in the evening.
It also allows you to take full advantage of your carport in all seasons, particularly as a pergola during long summer evenings. It makes everyday life easier, when unloading your shopping for example or when doing DIY.

Front protection
Various protective solutions are available for the fronts of all our carport models: fixed privacy screens, sliding privacy screens, sliding glass panels, etc. Each one has different advantages, which are detailed below.
Fixed privacy screens
The fixed privacy screens offered by AKENA are made of fixed, all-aluminium slats. They are available in solid blackout slats or slotted slats to let light through. The decorative privacy screens are available in the same colour as the structure or in a wood-coloured version. The slatted privacy screen is designed and manufactured by AKENA. Installed on one or more fronts of your carport, they define the space while protecting it.
