Closed bioclimatic pergola
So that you can enjoy your pergola for longer during the day, for longer in the season, whatever the weather, Akena offers solutions for side protection. With a closed or semi-closed pergola by Akena, it is entirely possible to close the front and sides independently of each other with motorised blinds. The motorised closing blinds are fully integrated into the pergola. The ultimate in sun protection, they filter UV rays, block heat and reduce glare. The fabric is made of fibreglass and PVC for greater resistance to weathering and fading.
An alternative to blinds: sliding privacy screens with adjustable slats. A decorative partition installed over all or part of a pergola, delimiting and protecting the space formed. Its adjustable slats and sliding panels allow you to adjust the light entering, to protect yourself from the wind and from prying eyes.
Finally, to provide protection from the wind, you can opt for sliding glass panels. These are real glass walls made up of sliding panels, one on top of the other, and provide real rigid protection from the wind. In some cases, you can even combine sliding glass panels with blinds.
