AKENA presents its latest aluminium pergola: the pergola with sliding opening. Designed on the same principle as a sunroof on a car, the Air Bio 365 retractable roof pergola frees up space and light for 365 days of comfort on your terrace.
Like a bioclimatic pergola, the pergola with a mobile roof allows for natural ventilation and intelligent shade management so you can enjoy your terrace in all seasons. With one difference: no loss of light. The novelty is there: a transparent sliding roof to keep all the natural light in the house, equipped with optional modular sun breakers for sun protection. Terrace protection 2 in 1!
Customisable to your heart's content, the pergola with panoramic opening roof is available in a back-to-back or island version, can be operated manually or with a remote control if it is motorised, with or without lighting, so many options to make your outdoor space a pleasant one. Scalable to meet your desire for comfort, in an elegant style with impeccable curves.

The pergola with a lean-to opening roof
This model is fixed to the wall of the house and rests on 2 posts fixed to the front of the pergola. This model has 4 curved polycarbonate or Dibond panels, 2 of which are central sliding, motorised or manual. A slotted sunbreaker system can be added as an option.
The free-standing pergola with opening roof
This model is based on 4 posts fixed to the 4 corners of the pergola. It has the same characteristics as the attached model. However, there is no need to attach this pergola to the house. It can be installed at the back of the garden, on level concrete blocks, or on a masonry terrace to ensure its perfect hold.
