Precautions to take when carrying out gardening work

In the vicinity, precautions must be taken to maintain the conservatory, particularly when carrying out gardening or masonry work:

  • Do not spray fertilisers, weedkillers or fireproofing products near the conservatory: there is a risk of indelible marks on the glass.
  • Throwing gravel when mowing the lawn can damage the glazing.
  • Beware of stains caused by various types of work (cement, plaster, paint, glue, etc.); if they are splashed on, they should be cleaned quickly without scratching.
  • Similarly, we strongly advise against grinding or sanding near the conservatory, as the shavings could become embedded in the aluminium lacquer and glazing.
