What to put in a conservatory?
Not sure what to put in your conservatory? What can you put in your conservatory to turn it into a real living space? Here are a few ideas that will suit the size of your conservatory, while transforming it into a space worthy of being featured in a decorating magazine.
How can I bring greenery into the conservatory?
Conservatories have long been used as winter gardens. Even if you use it differently today, that's no reason to deprive yourself of plants - on the contrary. Plants and flowers are very fashionable these days, and they're also good for the indoor air.
You can play around with different heights to give your little patch of greenery a distinctive look. Place pots on the floor, hang others from the ceiling or walls, add some on furniture, think of climbing plants... And there you have it, a little urban jungle taking shape. If you multiply the plants, just remember to arrange the largest ones behind, as in a photo, to give the whole thing depth.

How do you create a cosy corner?
What could be nicer than relaxing in your conservatory? A comfortable armchair, so you can sit in it for hours, a coffee table nearby, where you can put your favourite drink, cushions and a rug under your feet, for extra softness... Add a light so you won't be driven away by nightfall.
You've got everything you need for a good time. Put a thin blanket on the armchair so that you can stay there even in the evening or early morning. And place it in a corner, facing outwards. Your conservatory will become a haven of peace.

What should you put in a conservatory used as a passageway?
If your conservatory is just a threshold between indoors and outdoors, or if it's small, you won't want to clutter it up. An armchair might be welcome, but not several pieces of furniture.
The ideal solution is to opt for lightness. Limit heavy, cumbersome objects, and keep in mind thepractical aspect of this airlock. However, allow yourself to decorate it. A poster hung on the wall, plants or decorative objects will not obstruct the passage or the view.
A carpet on the floor will add a little softness, as long as it's easy to clean. Leave enough room for people to move around, and keep an unobstructed view of the outside. If you stick to these two rules, you can afford anything in terms of design.
Your conservatory is a living space. Put in what fills you with joy, what will look good in the sunlight. You can push the furniture around and try out different arrangements. Turn the seats towards the garden, or not, climb a shelf up the wall, even to the ceiling if you like, add cushions on the floor for a bohemian feel... The important thing is to please yourself and let this place breathe with you every day.
