You've made up your mind: you're going to build a conservatory! You have an idea of its shape and the materials that will be used for its structure and roof. You've also decided on the choice of glazing. For your floor, you've hesitated for a long time, and your heart has finally turned to tiling. Easy to maintain and long-lasting, tiles come in all shapes and sizes. So what type of tiling should you choose for your conservatory?

Choosing the right conservatory tiles

Easy to maintain, tiles can be used both indoors and outdoors. Resistant and durable, tiles come in many shapes, patterns and materials.

The first question you need to ask yourself is: how am I going to use my conservatory? A kitchen area won't require the same level of maintenance as a cocooning area, a bedroom or an office. The same goes for the look of the tiles. Do you want a warm space? A place where people pass through? A leafy rest area?

All these aspects need to be taken into account to make this room a welcoming and harmonious place.

To make the best choice, the climate in your region and temperature differences are equally important. Heating and insulation must also be taken into account to avoid the risk of cracks in the tiles. The many bay windows make laying tiles a tricky business.

Above all, don't hesitate to call in a professional tiler.

The different types of tiles

The size of the tiles is a matter of taste. Bear in mind, however, that a larger tile will give the impression of a larger room. What are the most common tiles?
