What type of vehicle can be parked under a single carport?
By definition, a simple carport is one that can house a light vehicle or two-wheeler. It can be made of different materials: wood, metal, steel or aluminium, as at AKENA.
The roof of a flat carport can be sloping, curved or flat. AKENA offers aluminium carports in different shapes, sizes and colours, so you can choose the carport that's right for you.

Taking these criteria into account, the price of a single aluminium carport is estimated at €500/m² including installation for a lean-to carport and around €550/m² for a freestanding carport installed at the end of your driveway. Obviously, the price varies according to the model and optional equipment.

Price of a double carport for 2 or 3 cars
The double carport, on the other hand, has larger dimensions and is made up of a double module to accommodate two or even three vehicles. It can also be used as a shelter to store outdoor equipment such as garden furniture or trailers.
The large double carport is ideal for your leisure vehicle or motor home in winter. Available in large sizes, especially with a high construction height that makes it easy to park the motorhome, the aluminium double carport is an effective way of enhancing your exterior.
It has the same features as the single-module carport: the double carport can be curved, with a pitched roof or a flat roof. It can also be fitted with aluminium privacy screens, offset posts or LED lighting. The price varies according to the materials used, the parking area and the options chosen.
For a large double carport, the price is around €770/m², including installation, for a carport attached to your house, and around €830/m² for a double island carport set on posts in your garden or at the end of your driveway.
