Everyone dreams of being able to enjoy their outdoors all year round. But to do so, you need to choose the right pergola heater. Gas, electric or even a fireplace: find out which pergola heater is right for you.

Traditional pergola heaters

The first solution for heating a pergola isto opt for gas heating. Heated parasols, such as those found on café terraces, are commonly used for this purpose. Different formats are available to meet your requirements in terms of space, power and design. However, there are two limitations to a gas pergola heater: as well as presenting a risk associated with the gas cylinder, this installation is imposing and difficult to move. Electric pergola heating is an alternative. In particular, you can opt for a radiator, an air blower or even a heating grille, all of which are generally affordable. However, this installation requires an electrical connection, which is not always possible outdoors. What's more, an electric heater can consume a lot of energy and quickly drive up the bill.

You can also opt for central heating. In this case, the heating equipment will need to be connected to the house's electricity network. Although this solution is more comfortable to use on a daily basis, it can require major work. Another solution is toinstall a fireplace or stove. As well as being aesthetically pleasing and available in a wide range of models, these appliances offer a wide choice of fuels (wood, gas, pellets, etc.). As a result, you can create an outdoor setting with character, where you can enjoy gathering with friends or family. The only thing that can hold you back is the cost of buying a fireplace or stove.
